The Supreme Court has delivered a crucial verdict: SC, ST, and OBC candidates can now secure unreserved seats based on their merit.

New Delhi-Supreme Court today released its one of very important judgement wherein the Rajasthan High Court had not considered reserved category (SCs STs and OBCs) candidates against unreserved category of posts. The Supreme Court has granted the benefit of right of consideration of the meritorious reserved category candidates/ SCs STs and OBCs candidates against unreserved slots as such unreserved seats are not reserved seats for unreserved category candidates and these are available to all meritorious candidates irrespective of their social origin.
