A magnificent tribute to India’s timeless artistry

Mumbai-At the celebratory dinner hosted by the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre honouring the historic return of the India Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, Nita Ambani once again brought Indian craftsmanship to the global spotlight. For the evening, she chose a Banarasi brocade Kaduwa saree by Swadesh, handwoven over five months by master artisans Ashfak Ansari and Habiburrahman, paired with a delicately structured lace blouse by Manish Malhotra. Her bespoke “Ratna Rivière” necklace — curated from her personal collection with Burmese rubies, Colombian emeralds, and white and yellow diamonds — added extraordinary brilliance, while the hand-carved temple-style purse reflected the soul of Indian heritage.Every weave, jewel, and detail celebrated the beauty of India’s culture, creativity, and craftsmanship.
