Women Entrepreneurs from PHDCCI Amritsar Meet Hon’ble Lt. Governor J & K, Shri Manoj Sinha; Propose Dedicated “Jammu Kashmir Day” at 20th PITEX 2026

Amritsar-A delegation of women entrepreneurs PHDCCI Amritsar, led by Ms. Himani Arora, Chair PHDCCI Punjab Chapter Regional Tex Tech & Fashion Forum, met with the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, to discuss enhanced participation of the Union Territory at the upcoming 20th Punjab International Trade Expo (PITEX) 2026.

The delegation also had a meeting with Mr. Vicky Shaw, Chairman PHDCCI Kashmir Chapter, and Ms. Madeena Mir, Convenor Women’s Forum, PHDCCI Kashmir along with Mr Shahid Khan, Mr Faisal Simon and Iqbal Fayaz Jan.

During the meeting, the members discussed key matters pertaining to the participation of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir at PITEX 2026, scheduled to be held from 3rd to 7th December 2026 in Amritsar. As part of the discussions, the delegation proposed a dedicated “Jammu Kashmir Day” at the Expo, envisioned as a complete Jammu Kashmir experience that brings together business, investment, exports, handicrafts, cuisine, tourism, and culture under one platform.The proposed “Jammu Kashmir Day” would feature a J&K Business & Investment Session, an Industry and Buyer-Seller Roundtable, a Tourism & Investment Presentation, live handicraft and artisan demonstrations, a J&K Food & Cuisine Showcase, cultural performances, and a special J&K Cultural Evening.
