GTTCI & Bharat Education Forum Host ‘Global Education, Global Opportunities’ Conference to Strengthen International Education Partnerships

New Delhi– The Global Trade & Technology Council (India) (GTTCI), in association with the Bharat Education Forum, successfully hosted the “Global Education, Global Opportunities – International Education Investment & Exchange Conference” on 14th September 2026 at the GTTCI Secretariat, New Delhi.
The conference brought together diplomats, government officials, education leaders and management/heads of over 40 educational institutions, creating a significant platform for dialogue on international education, investment, institutional exchange and global collaboration.
The programme commenced with a Welcome Address by Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President, Global Trade & Technology Council (India), followed by Opening Remarks by Mr. Sumit Varma, Founder & President, Bharat Education Forum.
A special felicitation ceremony honoured distinguished guests, diplomats and officials from the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, recognising their contributions towards youth development, education and international engagement. A key highlight was the Diplomatic Briefing on Global Educational Opportunities & International Collaborations, offering participants insights into international education ecosystems, institutional partnerships and avenues for global engagement. Officials from the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports also presented on youth development, leadership opportunities and relevant national initiatives.
The Interactive Q&A and Open Floor Session enabled Principals, Directors, Chairpersons and education leaders to engage directly with diplomats and government officials, exchange perspectives and explore potential areas of cooperation.
The event witnessed participation from representatives of Embassy of Djibouti, Egypt, Ethiopia and Lesotho, along with a Zimbabwean expatriate representative. Management and heads of several prominent educational institutions also participated, including GL Bajaj Institute of Management, Bharat National Public School, PP International School, The Centennial School, Panipat, Lingaya’s University, Little Flowers Group of Schools, Modern Public School, KIIT World School, Darrick International School and Cambridge School among others.The distinguished Guests of Honour included Prof. Dr. K.G. Suresh, Advisor – GTTCI and Director, India Habitat Centre; Shri K.S. Upadhyay, Additional Director of Education & CEO, Delhi Board of School Education, Government of NCT of Delhi; Prof. Dr. Ranjhana Jha, Vice Chancellor, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women; Ms. Priyanka Sharma, Viksit Bharat Leader; and Shri Ankit Kumar Gaur, State Director, MY Bharat & Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.
Ms. Monika Kapoor, Former Joint Director – CBSE, joined as a Special Guest.
The event was also attended by GTTCI Board Members Mr. Gopal Krishan Khandelwal, Dr. Jaspreet Singh Bindra, Mr. Kapil Khandelwal, Mr. Neeraj Sharma, Mr. Shubham Gupta and Dr. Urvashi Mittal.
The conference concluded with a strong emphasis on building global partnerships for a smarter, equitable and future-ready education ecosystem, fostering new opportunities for international exchange, collaboration and investment in education.
