Gurugram, Haryana, 23rd December 2024: Summer Fields School, Gurugram, hosted a memorable Rotary Interact Club Installation Ceremony on Monday, 23rd December 2024, marking the establishment of its Interact Club. The event, which celebrated leadership, community service, and global citizenship, showcased a remarkable spirit of collaboration, facilitated by the Global Trade & Technology Council of India (GTTCI).As part of its commitment to fostering global partnerships, GTTCI played a pivotal role in securing the participation of the Embassy of the Republic of Suriname. Representing the Embassy, Ms. Sunaina Parikhsa Raghnidevi Mohan, Second Secretary, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and delivered an inspiring address emphasizing cross-cultural understanding and the importance of youth leadership. Her presence underscored the event’s international significance and the collaborative efforts led by GTTCI.GTTCI’s Founder President, Dr. Gaurav Gupta, addressed the gathering, highlighting the Council’s dedication to promoting international cooperation, education, and empowerment. He emphasized the importance of such platforms in connecting communities, fostering trade and technology exchange, and inspiring future leaders.Dr. Meenu Kumar, a distinguished member of GTTCI and Vice President of OISCA International (North India Chapter), played a vital role in bridging the gap between Summer Fields School and the participating organizations. Her contributions as CSR Head of BNI Gurgaon and Faridabad and President of Rotary E-Club of Progressive Thinkers further exemplified the essence of collective action for social development.The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome by Ms. Soumya Taneja, Head – Junior & Middle School, Summer Fields School. She introduced the vision and objectives of the newly formed Interact Club, inspiring students to embrace leadership and community service. The program was further enriched by captivating cultural performances, including a vibrant dance performance, a musical rendition, a skit based on ‘The Spirit of Christmas,’ and delightful carol singing that spread festive joy.The event brought together an esteemed lineup of guests, including Ms. Arti Kochhar, Executive Director of BNI Gurgaon and Faridabad Region; Mr. Saumitra, Senior Director Consulting at BNI Gurgaon and Faridabad; Ms. Ruchi Rai, Literacy Director and Rotary District 3011 Interact Chair; Rtn. Rajiv Aneja, Assistant Governor of Rotary District 3011; and Ms. Ritu Prasad, Director of District Interact Chair, Rotary District 3011.
