Bhinmal’s Lalit Kumar Pledges Body for Medical Research, A Historic Step for Humanity

BHINMAL / NEW DELHI-In a noble and historic gesture for human welfare, Mr. Lalit Kumar from Bhinmal, Rajasthan, has donated his body for medical research and advancement.

Lalit Kumar, son of Smt. Sita Devi (House wife) and Shri Gulabaram Ji (Retired Principal, Govt. Secondary School, Daspan), has pledged his entire body including brainstem/cardiac and vital organs – liver, kidneys, heart, lungs, intestines, pancreas, bones, heart valves, skin, corneas, cartilage, blood vessels and more.

The body has been donated to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi on June 23rd.

Mr. Lalit Kumar is an internationally recognized media professional (CEO & Editor-in-Chief of Raj News Live) and social activist. He has been honored with prestigious awards like the G-22 International Harmony Award and Rajasthan Harmony Award.

Speaking on his decision, Lalit Kumar said:

“The objective is to address diseases plaguing humanity — many of which lead to epidemics and physical deformities due to lack of medical knowledge, ultimately causing premature deaths. This donation will open new avenues for medical research and serve as a positive step toward human welfare. I appeal to people across the globe to do something for the well-being of humanity that ensures future generations remember you; after all, everyone must die one day — this is an opportunity to live on even after life ends.”

His donation is being hailed as a major contribution to medical science and a source of inspiration for society.
