Dr.Tarun Kumar Aseri For his distinguished research work in “Energy Studies” Will be honored with the prestigious”Vijay Usha Sodha”Research Award.

 Delhi -At the upcoming convocation ceremony to be held at IIT Delhi on 12 August 2023 (Saturday)Dr. Tarun Kumar Aseri (Associate Professor) Engineering College, Ajmer For his distinguished research work in “Energy Studies”. Will be honored with the prestigious Vijay “Usha Sodha” Research Award. About Dr. Tarun Kumar Aseri was born on April 03, 1980 in Jodhpur and had his early schooling in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He did his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Engineering College Kota (now University Engineering College, Kota) Rajasthan in the year 2002. After getting five years of industrial experience, Tarun Kumar Aseri joined Department of Mechanical Engineering, Engineering College, Ajmer in September 2007 as an Assistant Professor.

Mr. Aseri did his Master of Technology from Centre for Energy Studies (now Department of Energy Science and Engineering), Indian Institute of Technology Delhi under Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) of All India Council for Technical Education, Government of India in the year 2013. He joined again the Department of Energy Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi as a Doctoral student in January 2016 to work in the area of techno-economics of concentrating solar power generation under supervision of Prof. Tara C. Kandpal (IIT Delhi) and Prof. Chandan Sharma (Govt. Engineering College Ajmer). Dr. Aseri have published six research papers in different international journals and six international conferences held in Bombay, Portugal, Germany.He received PhD degree in August 2022 in 53rd Convocation.
